Welcome to High Springers where we learn trampolining and gymnastics through enjoyment, because we all enjoy having fun!
High Springers trampoline and gymnastics club was first established in May 2014 by the director Charlotte Canniford. The classes initially began running on a Saturday morning offering four trampolining classes to 2-15yr olds in Aldenham, Hertfordshire. Now with over 300 members, around 45 special needs participants and 25 squad members attending every week we continue to grow and create a fun learning environment.
Charlotte had always been involved with sports from a young age and was selected to join a Sports Leadership Program in Barnet at the age of 14. Part of this program was to aid in promoting sports in local primary schools, helping to implement new strategies and delivering fun assemblies.
Part of this program was to volunteer in a sport of your choice, having enjoyed trampolining at school she chose this as her option.
Charlotte joined Harrow TC at the age of 15 where she began her training as a coach. After turning 16 she was eager to take her Level 1 exam in trampolining. By the time Charlotte had turned 18 she was a qualified level 2 trampolining coach leading classes and assisting with coaching their squad.
After completing her sports science degree in teaching and coaching Charlotte decided to take on her new adventure to pursue a career in doing what she loved….. Trampolining!
10 years on from when she first began in the sport she is now the managing director at High Springers.
